Your privacy
Private by design.
Still is designed so your intentions can remain personal. The app does not require a separate Still account and does not use advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs. For Still Unlimited users, private iCloud sync uses Apple CloudKit to keep selected app content available across devices.
Effective September 3, 2026
The short version
Still keeps a local copy of your data so the app works offline. When Still Unlimited is active and iCloud is available, intention details, practice history, optional notes, and archive status also sync through your private CloudKit database. Content fields are encrypted through CloudKit. Reminder, voice, and haptic preferences remain on each device. We do not sell, rent, profile, or use this information for advertising.
Information you create in Still
The app may store the following information so its features can work:
- intention titles and the symbols you choose;
- preferred practice duration and card layout;
- completed practice dates, time totals, and optional reflection notes;
- archive status, including intentions marked as manifested or released;
- voice, haptic, and reminder preferences, which remain local to each device.
When Still Unlimited iCloud sync is active, intention details, practice history, optional notes, and archive status may be transmitted to Apple CloudKit for App Functionality and associated with your Apple Account so they can appear on your devices. Still declares this as Other User Content and Product Interaction for App Store privacy purposes. It is not used for tracking, advertising, analytics, or marketing.
iCloud sync
Private iCloud sync is included with Still Unlimited. While the purchase entitlement is active, Still uses the private CloudKit database for the iCloud account signed in on your device. Synced content is stored as encrypted CloudKit fields and is not placed in a public database or shared with other Still users. Still syncs when the app opens or returns to the foreground and keeps local changes until a connection becomes available.
Apple operates iCloud and CloudKit. Cloud data is subject to your iCloud settings, storage availability, Apple Account status, purchase entitlement, and Apple's terms and privacy policy. The free version works locally without iCloud sync. If Still Unlimited or iCloud is unavailable, records remain on that device and syncing resumes only after access is restored.
Notifications
If you choose to enable a daily reminder, Still asks iOS for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on your device. Notifications are optional, are not required to use the app, and can be changed in Still or in iOS Settings at any time. Still does not use a remote push notification server.
Purchases
Still offers an optional non-consumable In-App Purchase that unlocks unlimited intentions and private iCloud sync. Apple processes the payment and manages the purchase through your Apple Account. Still checks Apple's signed purchase entitlement on your device so it can keep those features unlocked. We do not operate a purchase server, receive your full payment-card details, or receive the content of your intentions as part of a purchase. Apple's handling of App Store transactions is governed by Apple's privacy policy and account terms.
What we do not collect
Through the app, Still does not collect contact details, precise location, health records, financial information, device identifiers, browsing history, or advertising data. Synced intention content is used only to provide iCloud sync. The app does not contain third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
If you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any diagnostic or other information you choose to include. We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, protect the service, and keep reasonable support records. It is not collected automatically by the Still app and is not sold or used for advertising. You may ask us to delete a support conversation unless we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
Apple services and device backups
Apple may process information independently when you use iCloud or CloudKit, download the app, make or restore an In-App Purchase, enable device backups, or choose to share diagnostics with Apple or developers. Those activities are controlled by Apple and your device settings and are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Still does not control Apple's systems or receive the content of your iCloud records or device backup through a developer server.
Read the Apple Privacy Policy for details about Apple's own data practices.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your device until you change them or remove the app. Archiving an intention keeps its practice history available inside Still. If iCloud sync has been used, an iCloud copy may remain after the app is deleted so records can return on another device or after reinstallation. You can manage or remove Still's iCloud data through your Apple Account's iCloud storage settings. Because there is no separate Still account or developer-operated content server, support cannot view or directly delete the private CloudKit records in your Apple Account.
Children's privacy
Still does not knowingly request contact information from children or adults. If a child uses the app with Still Unlimited iCloud sync active, their entries are handled in the same private CloudKit manner described above. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required by local law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Still's features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version. We will update both this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure when relevant data practices change.
